Biography

Michael LaGuardia has been singing all his life and started performing on keyboards at age 11. After ten years of formal training and over 30 years experience in bands as a lead vocalist, keyboardist, bassist and percussionist – he has finally found his home as a pianist/vocalist in the tradition of many singer/songwriters such as Billy Joel, Elton John, James Taylor, Jim Croce, Sting, Phil Collins and many more. Michael’s musical history has taken him everywhere… from bars, restaurants and nightclubs throughout the South Jersey and Philadelphia area to performing Elton John’s classic “Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me” for over one thousand people at the Atlantic City Hilton Hotel. Along the way, he has performed with hundreds of local bands – Cinema, Menagerie, Naughty Boy, Sideline, CreepShow, Twitch, Soup Kitchen, The Lizards, Barefoot Mona, The Riverside Band, Enigma Machine, Square One, The McCollum Brothers, No Pressure, The Doghouse Roses and The Locals just to name a few.

Michael has regularly performs at The Golden Nugget Rush Lounge in Atlantic City, Dougherty’s Steakhouse in Atlantic City, The Crab Trap Restaurant in Somers Point, The Reeds Hotel in Stone Harbor, La Mer Hotel in Cape May, The Greate Bay Country Club, The Avalon Golf Club, The Waterfront in Forked River, Taco Cabalito in Cape May, and many more. Michael has also performed at the Broadway Burger Bar in the Tropicana Quarter in Atlantic City, the Windrift Hotel in Avalon, Robert’s Steakhouse in Atlantic City, TGI Friday’s in Egg Harbor Township, The Live Bar at the Golden Nugget in Atlantic City, The Tun Tavern in Atlantic City, The Wildwood Country Club, Natalli Vineyards in Cape May, Stephen’s on State in Media Pennsylvania, and the Arirang Steakhouse in Langhorne, Pennsylvania.

Currently, Michael’s set list consists of over a thousand songs spanning the 1950’s through today’s latest and greatest hits. There is always guaranteed to be something for everyone of any age or taste.
